Liberals went nuts a couple of weeks ago when an ad from the NRA started making the rounds. The ad, featuring conservative speaker Dana Loesch, did nothing more or less than expose the truth about the modern leftist movement and its increasing predilection for violence against conservatives. In the video, Loesch encouraged NRA members to fight back against this hostility with the “clenched fist of truth,” a phrase liberal defenders immediately mistook for a call for violence. This reaction was utterly ridiculous, of course, seeing as how the video was a clear condemnation of violence, but leave it to the left to find yet another way to call the kettle black.
Speaking of black, the video attracted the ire of Women’s March organizers who, remarkably, have decided that the video is not only a call to violence but is actually racist as well. They’re planning a protest against the NRA later this month.
“We know that we are not safe. But we will not be intimidated into silence,” the group said on its Facebook page. “Recent actions of the NRA demonstrate not only a disregard for the lives of black and brown people in America, but appear to be a direct endorsement of violence against women, our families and our communities for exercising our constitutional right to protest.”
In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Loesch denounced the Women’s March organizers as fraudulent feminists.
“They don’t like pro-life women’s groups, they don’t like women who want to be empowered to use the Second Amendment to defend themselves,” Loesch said. “They don’t really like all women. I’m not going to be lectured by this fake feminist women’s organization. And in fact, I dare say that if these fake feminists want to see some real women, real empowered women, women who actually support and encourage varied viewpoints, they can take a trip to the NRA.”
Well said. These are ardent leftist radicals disguising themselves as moderate Americans opposed to the Trump administration. Indeed, they are nothing more or less than the very extremists the NRA was talking about in the video. Theirs is the outrageous ideology that threatens to divide this country using every possible metric: Race, gender, belief, ethnicity, religion, and right on down the line. They hit these notes so often and so forcefully that it cannot but lead to violence eventually. It already has and it will again.
