It’s time for Colin Kaepernick’s 15 minutes of fame to expire. It’s time for Nike to grow a pair and sever this psycho’s contract. It’s time for Americans of sound mind and patriotic heart to turn their backs on this race-bating lunatic who has absolutely nothing of value to add to our political discourse, our culture, or our football fields. Kaepernick’s kneeling protests might have been interestingly controversial for a hot minute back in 2016, but any novel value his anti-American stance might have held has long since evaporated. This guy doesn’t care about reforming police or drawing light to injustice; he’s a radical racist long on mouth and short on brains.
Interrupting his long streak of self-promoting tweets to weigh in on the killing of Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani on Saturday, Kaepernick wrote: “There is nothing new about American terrorist attacks against Black and Brown people for the expansion of American imperialism.”
Hot take, Colin. Anything else?
“America has always sanctioned and besieged Black and Brown bodies both at home and abroad,” he tweeted. “America militarism is the weapon wielded by American imperialism, to enforce its policing and plundering of the nonwhite world.”
Yeah? And how many nonwhite women made $1 an hour in Indonesia to make your fancy new shoes, Colin? Don’t recall you ever speaking out against that injustice perpetrated against nonwhite “bodies.” We’re sure you’ll get around to it when and if Nike ever decides to cut ties with you, though.
“He’s a loser on and off the field,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham on Sunday. “He’s a racist. If you’re looking for racism in America, Mr. Kaepernick, look in the mirror.”
Graham wasn’t the only one disgusted by Kaepernick’s remarks.
“Because everything is racist,” sneered Megyn Kelly. “Everything. Even fighting back against terrorists who kill Americans. Nike, feeling proud?”
Kelly’s sensible retort drew the ire of another racist, “Selma” director Ana DuVernay, who said, “Shame on you, Megyn.”
But Kelly, to her credit, didn’t back down.
“No, I will not be shamed over calling out bull**** claims of racism, which undermine the legitimate claims,” Kelly tweeted. “Killing a terrorist is not about skin color; it’s about protecting our country from a guy who murdered hundreds of Americans, period.”
We haven’t always seen eye to eye with Megyn Kelly over the last few years, but if anyone knows about BS claims of racism, it’s her. She lost her NBC gig for a perfectly reasonable remark about blackface, and it’s clear from her tweet that she – like many of us – has had it up to here with leftists using the “racist” tag to shout down anyone and anything they don’t like.
If these oppressed millionaires are so disgusted with America, why don’t they use their fortunes to move somewhere else?
We hear Cuba is really nice this time of year.
