According to a new survey from Rasmussen, 47% of likely U.S. voters believe that Hillary Clinton’s campaign is more likely to have colluded with foreign operatives than Donald Trump’s. While 45% of voters still (stubbornly) believe that Trump’s campaign colluded with the Russians, it’s clear that the final report from special counsel Robert Mueller has had at least some impact on the public’s perception of this issue. This is especially damning for Clinton, seeing as how the mainstream media has been harping on Trump’s collusion scandal for more than two years and they’ve not whispered a breath about the similar allegations against Hillary.
Actually, that’s not quite right, because they have mentioned it a time or two – only because President Trump has brought it up. They’ve mentioned it so they could mock and laugh at the president, and dismiss his contentions as the ramblings of a guilty man trying to cast blame everywhere other than himself.
Of course, that line of mockery doesn’t work so well anymore, does it? No, not since The Great Hero of the Resistance finished his investigation. So now, we’d have to imagine they will studiously avoid confronting any allegations of collusion on Hillary Clinton’s part, even though they are every bit as damning as the ones against Trump. And, frankly, far more believable.
To wit, was it not a certain kind of foreign collusion when the Clinton campaign hired former British spy Christopher Steele to go gallivanting across Russia in search of dirt on Trump? Not only is Steele himself a foreign agent but there is plenty of reason to believe that his infamous dossier was filled with nothing more substantial than Russian disinformation. Tell us this: Did that dossier do more to harm America over the last two years…or has Trump’s actions as president done more? We would submit it is the former. We would submit that, were it not for that foreign-created dossier, there would have been no investigation of any significance into the Trump campaign. No Mueller. None of this dark cloud hanging over the White House.
And experts have every reason to believe that Russia was behind the whole thing. Especially since, as far as we can tell at this stage in the game, there isn’t one true fact in the whole damn dossier.
Then again, we know how the Clintons’ misdeeds tend to somehow get swept under the rug, so don’t expect this to be any different.
