(TotalConservative.com) – Just days after Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) filed Articles of Impeachment against President Joe Biden for “weaponizing” his offices and using his authority to conceal financial misdeeds and alleged bribery, Biden has been hit with a second set of Articles of Impeachment for his failure to secure the southern border from Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO).
Boebert spoke with Fox News on Tuesday, June 13th, saying that she’ll support “any article of impeachment” that is constitutionally legitimate against President Joe Biden. She was a cosponsor for the first round from Andy Ogles. Earlier in May, Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) introduced her own Articles of Impeachment against Joe Biden.
Boebert ripped Biden for his failure to defend U.S. borders and the Constitution as required by his oath of office. She hopes to see action from the GOP-led House, and if leadership doesn’t make it happen, she’ll take matters into her own hands. Saying she’ll call “for a privileged motion,” the process would allow her to take the floor and read the articles into the record forcing leadership to determine if they’ll be sent to committee or voted on directly by the House.
In a press release, Boebert said that almost 7 million people have come across the southern border during Biden’s time in office. Border patrol has encountered roughly 5.3 million individuals coming over while it’s estimated another 1.5 have completely evaded law enforcement officials.
She also claimed that the Biden administration released over 2 million illegal immigrants into the country with no means to track them or enforce their deportation should their asylum claims be rejected or deemed invalid. She added that roughly forty-thousand pounds of fentanyl were intercepted by border officials during the same period. That is enough to kill every American 27 times.
Boebert’s articles conclude by accusing President Biden of pursuing an open-borders agenda in violation of the law and putting American lives and national security at risk by ceding operation control to criminal cartels. Will it get a fair hearing before Congress?
