The Washington Post, with their fake news reporting, stirred up the left’s hornet nest this week with a story about how the Trump administration is denying passports to U.S. citizens who live along the Mexican border. The theme of the story, as it has filtered down to the idiots who are gung-ho about illegal immigration, is that Trump and his ICE cronies are penalizing brown Americans for daring to be Hispanic. They’re disqualifying their birth certificates, deporting them, and hell, probably flying them out to the middle of the Pacific to drop them in the ocean.
This kind of wildly inaccurate reporting led one Democrat lawmaker from Arizona to make an extraordinary threat against ICE officials.
“If you are a US government official and you are deporting Americans be warned,” tweeted Rep. Ruben Gallego on Thursday. “When the worm turns you will not be safe because you were just following orders. You do not have to take part in illegal acts ordered by this President’s administration.”
Literally, how stupid do you have to be to actually buy into this story? Well, nevermind. Elected Democrats in this country are among the most brainless individuals to have ever walked the planet, so we’re not sure why we’re even surprised. They think that ANY border enforcement amounts to a Nazi war crime, so we’re sure they’re already well primed to believe any story about any evil that emerges from the Trump administration. Either that, or they are themselves duplicitous enough to try and fool their constituents into believing this crap. Probably a little bit of both.
In a statement, Chris Crane of the National ICE Council shamed Gallego for his remarks.
“It should be frightening to every American that a sitting member of Congress would threaten the safety of any person and their family, and incite the public to take acts of violence against them, let alone the lives of those whose job it is to protect us and keep us safe,” Crane said.
Gallego insisted that he was not threatening ICE officials with violence or calling for public action, but rather warning those officials that Congress would take action against them.
“Government officials who violate the law or the constitution will not be immune to legal consequences,” Gallego said. “They will eventually be held accountable for their actions, even if the Trump administration is refusing to do so.”
To be completely fair, that’s how we took his original comment, but then again, when you have nutcases like Maxine Waters out there calling for specific, individual harassment, you never can be too sure.
But even if Gallego did mean that Congress would “hold accountable” ICE officials who “break the law” under Trump’s orders, it makes his threat no less disgusting. He has no evidence whatsoever that these citizen roundups are happening. He’s just blowing hot air for his braindead voters, who buy into everything the fake news media tells them about the EVIL TRUMP.
Frankly, we’d like to know when sanctuary city officials are going to be held accountable for thwarting the faithful execution of federal law.
