(TotalConservative.com) – Washington State is notorious for its leftist leanings, and now elected officials from the state are refusing to condemn fully nude cyclists participating in the city’s pride festivities in full view of minor children and in violation of local laws. Many of the riders decided to cool off at a public fountain rinsing themselves in full view of families with small children.
Several Washington State Democrats refused to comment or condemn the illegal behavior, in fact, Rep. Pramila Jayapal called the parade one of her “favorite events of the year.” Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell had a wonderful time at the event, tweeting “It was great to feel the love, energy, and sunshine” while proffering additional words of support for the “LGBTQIA+ community.” Democrat State Rep. Darya Farivar was also in attendance.
Fox News Digital reached out for comment from all the Democrats’ offices but none of them responded to requests. Seattle Pride Parade authorities also ignored requests for comment.
Pride has become quite controversial this year often with adult acts being displayed in full view of minor children and some states explicitly outlawing drag performances anywhere children can see them. A pride parade was canceled in Florida while other events were limited to adults 21 and up in order to avoid violating laws passed in the last several months.
Florida has become the epicenter of conservative backlash against radical gender ideology and perverse public displays which began last year when Gov. Ron DeSantis signed the Parental Rights in Education bill, famously slandered as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill.
Authorities are attempting to strip a Florida venue of its liquor license for hosting a lewd Christmas drag show where performers simulated adult acts on stage while scantily clad. One performer was costumed with huge synthetic breasts, while others had their backsides exposed, some simulated masturbation, and others depicted “childbirth and/or abortion,” per a complaint.
