FL Surgeon General Says Not to Adhere to New Mask Mandates

(TotalConservative.com) – As mask mandates return to some colleges and universities, many are objecting and refusing to comply. They’re getting additional support from Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph A. Ladapo who suggested people refuse to comply with new mandates for lockdowns or masking in public on X, the app formerly known as Twitter.

Morris Brown College in liberal Atlanta mandated two weeks of masking on their campus after an alleged respiratory infection. Another variant is on the rise, authorities claim, with mainstream media eager for another round of mass hysteria. This variant “might be really different,” writes the Wall Street Journal.

CNN is already scaring people with the prospect of death if they don’t break out the N95 masks. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ press secretary Jeremy Redfern pointed out that they were using a masked child in their picture for the article and called it “gross.” He also reminded his audience that DeSantis had banned mask mandates in the state of Florida and called them “biomedical security theater.”

Back in May, DeSantis signed a law banning vaccine mandates and mask mandates, and voiding any emergency use authorizations that come down the line from the federal government. Mask mandates for schools and students are also illegal, including all kinds of face coverings.

It also prohibits employers from refusing to hire, firing, or otherwise negatively impacting individuals based on their refusal to take a vaccine and outlaws discrimination in Florida based on someone’s vaccine or immunity status. Doctors who previously required the jab in order to treat patients are no longer allowed to make the demand under the new law.

The new variant is appropriately titled “Eris,” named after the Greek goddess of discord and chaos. CDC data showed a slight spike in hospitalizations from 118 to 161 in weekly US data. Only 2 cases of the variant have been detected in the US so far.

Experts have said that previous infection with any variant would offer improved natural immunity.
