Proving once again that Google does not tolerate any viewpoints that go beyond the left-wing, social justice bubble, the company has fired Mike Wacker, a software engineer who blew the whistle on Google’s intolerant culture of “outrage mobs” and “witch hunts.”

Only a couple of weeks after Wacker wrote an open letter lamenting the culture within Google that fosters a tattletale, no-diversity-of-thought atmosphere, he was put on administrative leave and subsequently given the pink slip.

“You don’t know what’s going to offend somebody next and a lot of time they are going to HR over these trivial things,” Wacker said on Fox Business the day before his suspension. “These outrage mobs are so hostile. You want to kind of want to push back on them, but if you push back, they can turn on you instead.”

It may seem as though Wacker put his own job in jeopardy by going public about the culture within Google, but the truth is that he was being pushed out before writing the open letter to Medium. Indeed, it was within that open letter that Wacker spoke of how Google administrators essentially tried to push him out the door because his conservative viewpoints were not a match for the company’s SJW culture.

“If left unchecked,” Wacker wrote, “these outrage mobs will hunt down any conservative, any Christian, and any independent free thinker at Google who does not bow down to their agenda.”

Wacker said that after leftists reported his “wrong” opinions about transgender people and Jordan Peterson, to name a few, he was hauled in front of HR and offered a severance package.

“I was pulled into a meeting of my own with my management and HR,” he wrote. “During that meeting, I received a final written warning, and I received a verbal offer of 8 weeks of severance pay if I left the company. That verbal offer of severance was an implied threat of termination. While they never said it explicitly, it was clear that if I didn’t take that offer, they would invent some pretext to fire me shortly thereafter.”

And now they apparently have.

The news of Wacker’s dismissal happens to coincide with yet another study that proves Google favors left-wing news sites like CNN and The New York Times when putting together its Top Stories selections. According to researchers at Northwestern University, Google provides users from articles from left-leaning organizations 62.4% of the time.

But no, there’s no bias here. None at all.
