(TotalConservative.com) – The Trump Georgia trial is likely to be livestreamed and televised according to a report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee said that they’ve followed the model of Judge McBurney and have been livestreaming most of their hearings on a YouTube account affiliated with Fulton County. There was a consensus to do so with the Trump case as well, and he confirmed it would be available on YouTube.
He’s also issued a ruling that cell phones and laptops may be used in the courtroom but not for the purposes of recording the proceedings. Media pool coverage will also be available, per CBS News, which means radio, photographs, and live television will be permitted.
Trump said “We did nothing wrong at all,” after his arrest last week in Fulton County, and reiterated that they had every right to challenge an election they believe was rigged or otherwise fraudulent. Most of the criticism of the Georgia allegations involved Trump’s right to free speech. The First Amendment guarantees every American the right to criticize the government, its policies, or anything else associated with its work – that includes elections.
Trump’s mug shot from his Georgia arrest went viral on social media, it was so popular the Trump campaign incorporated it into their fundraising efforts. His popularity continues to amaze liberal media darlings, they’re astounded that he continues to gain in the polls despite being nailed with numerous criminal indictments.
The Georgia indictment accuses Trump, his advisers, and legal representatives at the time of conspiring to “unlawfully change the outcome” of the Georgia election. Trump’s defense will focus on his First Amendment rights. Trump also faces an antagonistic D.C. court on charges he was responsible for the riot at the Capitol on January 6th. There’s an additional indictment against him for taking presidential papers upon leaving office, a standard practice amongst all past presidents. The George Soros-funded New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg is also pursuing dozens of charges against Trump for paying Stormy Daniels to sign a non-disclosure agreement, a crime due to how he reported it in business filings, he claims.
