It kills us how the media hypes up these weekly opinion polls that do nothing but demonstrate that Americans are being successfully brainwashed by their one-sided coverage of the Trump administration. Oh, the majority of Americans think Trump was wrong to pull out of the Paris Climate Agreement. Cool. You think that has anything to do with the fact that literally everyone in the mainstream media is running around saying that the end of the world is upon us? What do opinion polls matter when we have Democrat-run networks that only tell the American people one side of the story?
But what’s really fascinating is that even with this stranglehold on the nation’s consciousness, there are some things that the media simply cannot get the public to believe. Take the latest poll from Rasmussen as an example. According to the survey, 52% of Americans still believe that President Trump’s travel ban is aimed at keeping terrorists – not Muslims – out of the United States. That’s in spite of the fact that you can’t find a single network – cable or otherwise – that doesn’t portray the ban as anything less than a violation of the First Amendment.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters favor temporarily barring entry to the United States of people from Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen until the federal government improves its ability to screen out potential terrorists from coming here. Forty-one percent (41%) are opposed.
Critics of the travel ban say it is aimed at blocking Muslims from entering the United States, and 39% agree. Fifty-two percent (52%) say Trump’s order is aimed instead at keeping out terrorists. The seven Muslim-majority countries in question were identified by the Obama administration as terrorist havens.
This poll is a breath of fresh air, and it proves that despite the liberal control of the messaging, Americans still have the ability to use their common sense. Democrats are backing the wrong horse when it comes to their support and defense of Islam. Americans see the truth about what’s going on here. Only the most bleeding-heart liberals want to take in unlimited numbers of refugees and immigrants if it means increasing our national exposure to terrorism. If Democrats want to keep putting Islam above the security of our nation, they’re going to find out that all the Russia nonsense in the world won’t be enough to put them back in power.
