The congresswoman dubbed one of the “lowest IQ” people in government by President Trump was back at it again on Friday, telling a SiriusXM host that she would never be able to find forgiveness for black voters who cast their support for the incumbent.
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) has been one of Trump’s most unhinged enemies over the last four years (and imagine the territory THAT covers), and she apparently thinks a black voter would have to be insane to vote for anyone other than Joe Biden. After all – Biden himself said “you ain’t black” if you have a tough time deciding between him and Trump. Apparently, Waters agrees with that racist sentiment.
“I don’t even know where any Blacks would be coming from that would be voting for Trump,” Waters said in the interview. “It just hurts me so bad to see Blacks talking about supporting Trump.”
Waters has been especially concerned with black celebrities like Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Ice Cube throwing their support behind President Trump. Speaking in conjunction with South Carolina congressman Jim Clyburn, she said that these black stars are only thinking about themselves and not the black community writ large. And as we all know, any black person who thinks and votes as an individual is anathema to the Democratic Party way.
“I will never ever forgive them for undermining the possibility to help their own people and their own communities,” she said. “It is absolutely unconscionable. It is shameful. They have a price to pay for years to come if they help put Trump over and help get him elected. They will go down in history as having done the most despicable thing to their families and to their communities and to their mothers and their grandmothers.
“This man is about doing away with Social Security as we know it,” she continued. “And their grandmothers who are sitting there waiting on those Social Security checks every month or they couldn’t eat. Doing away with Medicare, as we know it, they will shamefully be accused of having attributed to the lack of a quality life for the people they claim to love so much.”
In a separate interview on Fox News, Clyburn said he was taken aback by recent polls that show Trump taking as much as 14% of the black vote away from Democrats.
“I can tell you this sincerely. I’m the father of three Black women. I am the son of a Black woman,” he said. “If any Black man can go in a polling place and cast a vote for a man who referred to a Black woman as a dog on national television, I’m going to have to pray for them.”
