Part of the energy that has infused the Donald Trump movement has been a national urge to get away from the status quo, wherein rich and powerful “establishment” figures call the shots in Washington. These men have not been elected by a single voter, yet they have purchased influence at the highest levels of the U.S. government. It may seem counterintuitive to call upon one of those very men to save us from the system, but sometimes you gotta fight fire with fire.

Speaking of fire, Hillary Clinton has another one she’s going to need to put out. Or, she will if the mainstream political media actually bothers to cover this story the way it deserves to be covered. According to an email chain from the September 2015 dump from the State Department, liberal billionaire George Soros called on his pal Hillary in 2011 for a little foreign policy “favor.”

In the email, which was sent from Soros to Hillary’s top advisers at the State Department, the billionaire asks the then-secretary to follow his advice regarding a situation brewing in Albania:

Dear Hillary,

A serious situation has arisen in Albania which needs urgent attention at senior levels of the US government. You may know that an opposition demonstration in Tirana on Friday resulted in the deaths of three people and the destruction of property. There are serious concerns about further unrest connected to a counter-demonstration to be organized by the governing party on Wednesday and a follow-up event by the opposition two days later to memorialize the victims. The prospect of tens of thousands of people entering the streets in an already inflamed political environment bodes ill for the return of public order and the country’s fragile democratic process.

In the email, Soros recommends that Hillary appoint an official from the EU to act as a mediator between the Albanian prime minister and the head of the opposition movement. He even helpfully suggests a few names: “Carl Bildt, Martti Ahtisaari or Miroslav Lajcak, all of whom have strong connections to the Balkans.”

As reported by Breitbart, Lajcak was indeed appointed as a negotiator only days later, proving that either Soros was a prognosticator or his “advice” was duly considered by Secretary Clinton as only a top donor’s advice could be.

Whether any harm was done in this particular situation is hard to say, but the particulars are secondary. The fact is, George Soros is a major donor to the Hillary Clinton campaign, and he will undoubtedly expect a certain amount of influence in return. Soros is a near-anarchist who was largely responsible for funding the early Black Lives Matter protests in Ferguson, so anything he recommends to the White House is bound to be terrible for the country.

So yeah. Another reason, if you needed one.
