The American people have been clear, vocal, and vehement about their opposition to President Obama’s Syrian refugees, but this administration cares more about obeying the whims of the United Nations than the public it is required to serve. And since Obama doesn’t have to worry about re-election, he’s willing to spend the last of his political currency to make sure he is looked upon favorably by the globalist club of which he is a card-carrying member.
To that end, his Department of Homeland Security announced Monday that at least 8,000 Syrian refugees would be granted renewed and extended amnesty, regardless of their current legal status. The order will allow these immigrants to stay in the U.S. for another 18 months, apply for work permits, and live without the looming fear of deportation.
“Syria’s lengthy civil conflict has resulted in high levels of food insecurity, limited access to water and medical care, and massive destruction of Syria’s infrastructure,” said Homeland Security director Jeh Johnson. “Attacks against civilians, the use of chemical weapons and irregular warfare tactics, as well as forced conscription and use of child soldiers have intensified the humanitarian crisis.”
For those reasons, DHS is going to keep extending amnesty to these refugees as long as the American public allows them to get away with it. Worse, Obama and (if elected) his Democratic successor are planning to accelerate the rate at which the U.S. admits these refugees.
This would not be okay under any circumstances, but it’s particularly dangerous considering that many of our top national security officials have said we lack the tools to properly vet refugees coming out of the war-torn country. There is already substantial evidence to show that ISIS is using the refugee pipeline as a means through which their terrorists can sneak into Western countries and attack from within. In a year where ISIS attacks have grow more frequent, more sophisticated, and more deadly, Obama is literally playing games with the lives of his constituents.
Under the Obama Doctrine, we’ve gotten to the point where anyone who throws up a red flag is blasted as a fascist, xenophobic nationalist scared of “women and children.” This president has made it very clear that he cares more about pats on the back from his socialist running buddies than about the security of this nation. At a time when Donald Trump is being accused of “treason” for a joke about Russia, what should we call what Obama is doing?
