It was supposed to be a Big Blue Wave, but it didn’t turn out that way. By the time all the races are decided, House Democrats will likely have shrunk their majority, losing several seats to Republicans across the country. And unless they can pull out a miracle in Georgia, they are extremely unlikely to take control of the Senate. They won the big prize, it seems, but this was nothing like the big victory that it was supposed to be.

The finger-pointing began immediately. Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) said last week that “no one should say ‘defund the police’ ever again.” Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville said Tuesday that the “woke people should take a nap” after the election and leave the party to the adults.

But if the goal was to get “The Squad” and other radical Democrats to sit down and shut up, it’s already clear that it’s not going to happen. These leftists are primed and ready to take full control of the party, drive Biden’s presidency as far to the left as they can, and show every American that the Democratic Party is now the home of socialism and insanity.

“The Democratic Party is not going to be successful if we’re silencing districts like mine,” said Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) in comments to Politico. “Me not being able to speak on behalf of many of my neighbors right now, many of which are black neighbors, means me being silenced. I can’t be silent.

“We are not interested in unity that asks people to sacrifice their freedom and their rights any longer,” she continued. “And if we truly want to unify our country, we have to really respect every single voice. We say that so willingly when we talk about Trump supporters, but we don’t say that willingly for my Black and brown neighbors and from LGBTQ neighbors or marginalized people.”

Can’t really remember ever hearing Tlaib say that we need to “respect” Trump supporters, but we’re sure we just missed it.

Tlaib’s Squad-mate, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, said it’s time for Democrats to “take our gloves off with Republicans.”

“We’re always messaging around bipartisanship and how much we love working with Republicans all the time in a lot of these sensitive areas,” she said. “We need to have an unapologetic agenda, have an actual alternative and countermessaging that is distinct from the Republican Party instead of trying to play to notions of civility. I just really hope that it gets through to a lot of people that this idea that we can win over white voters on a civility argument is like not a reliable strategy.”

These loons really think that “EXTREME LEFT” is the direction most Americans want out of their government. And if Biden can be convinced of that insane argument, he’s going to set Democrats up for a record blowout in 2022 and (perhaps) a major Trump comeback in 2024.

In the meantime, let’s sit back and enjoy the firefight.
