Family Member Of Jordan Neely Arrested With Over 70+ Previous Charges

( – A prolific thief and pickpocket was arrested on Tuesday, May 23rd according to the NYPD, and curiously he turned out to be the uncle of Jordan Neely, the mentally disturbed man who died after being restrained on the subway during a mental health episode earlier in May.

Christopher Neely, 44, had spoken for the family in an unofficial capacity, and had suggested previously that Daniel Penny, the man who restrained his nephew, go to trial and “be taught that what he did was wrong.”

Christopher Neely will have a chance to discover for himself a thing or two about the consequences of bad behavior, with over 70 prior arrests and two active warrants out, it’s possible he’ll be serving time before Mr. Penny. Penny faces up to 15 years in jail if convicted on charges of second-degree manslaughter.

Neely was arrested during an attempted escape as he ran from officers outside of the New York Port Authority Bus Terminal after officers recognized him as a serial thief wanted in connection with a pattern of purse thefts from restaurants. Police reported finding stolen credit cards from multiple victims and a gravity knife (illegal in NYC) on his person at the time of his arrest. He will face charges including possession of stolen property, bail jumping, resisting arrest, and a weapon charge.

Daniel Penny awaits trial for his part in the death of Jordan Neely. A desperate and disturbed Jordan threw a fit on a crowded F train, threatening passengers with his hysterics which inspired Penny and two other men to restrain him until police were able to arrive on the scene. Unfortunately, Neely passed out and died as a consequence of the struggle and leftists demanded charges while screaming about racism because Neely happened to be black.

During an interview with the New York Post, Penny asserted race was not the issue, behavior was, and that anyone who knows him will tell you that he’s a people lover and travel fanatic. He had been planning a trip to Africa prior to getting charged with manslaughter.
