Ukraine Wants Missiles, What’s Next?

( – Ukraine wants long-range missiles and British P.M. Rishi Sunak has said “nothing is off the table” when it comes to helping the Ukrainian regime in its war against Russia. The request is the latest addition from needy Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, he also wants fighter jets, by the way.

The escalation of the conflict is ongoing as the U.S. and its NATO allies have agreed to send tanks to Ukraine, a reversal of a previous position where officials claimed the tanks were too difficult to operate and maintain to be effective. No matter! Whatever Zelensky wants, Zelensky gets, it seems.

As if he was proud to escalate the conflict which could potentially become World War 3, Sunak spoke Wednesday, February 8th, from Lulworth army camp, saying “the most crucial capability is battle tanks, which we led on, but also those long-range missiles.”

The Times of London is reporting that the missiles under consideration are vehicle launched and have a range of 150-350 miles. The Harpoon missile carries high explosives and can destroy navy vessels as well as heavy equipment, and the Storm Shadow missile has an extended range that would allow Ukraine to strike Crimea or Russia directly. Ukrainian officials have repeatedly called for strikes against Crimea.

Does anyone care about the costs? It doesn’t seem like it. Second only to the U.S. in terms of direct financial and military aid, the U.K. spent £2.3 billion in 2022 on the war. The Harpoon and Storm Shadow missiles come with hefty price tags as well, at £1.2 and £2.2 million a piece.

Zelensky signed a fresh declaration of support with Sunak in London on Wednesday, reaffirming the British commitment to Ukraine joining NATO which is something the Russian government has consistently opposed.

Following his British canonization, Zelensky continued his busking tour of Europe into France and Brussels where he continued to demand missiles and fighter jets. Incredibly western leaders seem content to continue the march toward World War 3 giving Zelensky, an actor who played the president previously, limitless support to spark off the apocalypse.
