(TotalConservative.com) – Businessman, producer, and investor Mark Cuban admitted this week that he voted for former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in the Texas GOP primary election, snubbing former President Donald Trump, who won the contest on Super Tuesday.

On Monday, Feb. 4, Cuban paid a visit to Washington, D.C., where he told reporters at Bloomberg News that he would cast his ballot the following day for Haley in the Texas GOP primary. He described his decision as a “protest vote” against the former president.

Further, Cuban said that if the general election comes down to a rematch between Trump and President Joe Biden, he will support Biden.

Cuban, who has expressed interest in running for the White House in the past, was asked about Biden’s age and whether or not that would change his mind. Cuban said that even if Biden were on the brink of death, he would still choose him over Trump.

Although it’s not yet a 100% certainty, it appears that a rematch between Biden and Trump is, indeed, where the country is heading. Biden swept up all the delegates he could on Super Tuesday, and Trump beat Haley at every turn during the contests. Because roughly a third of all delegates are up for grabs on Super Tuesday, more than any other day during the primary season, the results are usually a major indicator of who will likely become each party’s nominee.

The 65-year-old businessman, who is the co-founder of a new drug company, was visiting the White House to participate in a roundtable discussion about prescription drug costs. The stated aim of the Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company is to lower the price of generic drugs, making medications more affordable to American consumers. He’s also one of the owners of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team, co-owner of the media company 2929 Entertainment, and a regular on “Shark Tank,” the popular reality TV show on ABC.
